【报告人简介】

许建军,新加坡南洋理工大学运营管理博士,加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学和西班牙萨拉戈萨物流研究中心博士后,曾任麻省理工大学全球供应链物流卓越网络萨拉格萨物流研究中心助理教授,现任职于东北财经大学国际商学院商业数据分析教研室主任,副教授,博士生导师。主要研究领域为供应链和物流管理、运营管理、动态优化控制等。具体理论研究领域包括动态库存管理、最优生产控制、最优价格控制、柔性制造资源最优策略等。其研究成果已发表在Operations Research, Production and Operations Management,IISE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research,International Journal of Production Economics,Naval Research Logistics, Operations Research Letters等国际知名期刊。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项,参与国家自然科学基金重点项目1项,联合申请欧盟Horizon 2020项目2项,参与欧盟项目多项。

【摘要】

We study the problem of optimally managing an inventory system with backordering over a discrete finite time horizon where the objective is minimization of expected total discounted costs.The system consists of two locations each stocking the same product. At the beginning of each time period decisions are made about replenishment at each location and about any quantity to transship between the locations before demand is observed. Leveraging the L-natural -convexity of the problem’s cost function, we characterize the optimal replenishment and transshipment policy for this system. More specifically we show the optimal policy can be described by using the switching curves that are monotone in the system state. We also discuss two extensions. In one extension, we establish L-natural -convexity and apply and apply it to characterize the optimal policy for a lost-sales model, which helps simplify the analysis in the existing work. In the other extension, we investigate the optimal policy for a partial transshipment problem where only one location can transship to the other.
