2021年6月21日下午，现代供应链管理研究院第五十五期学术论坛如期举行。本次论坛的主讲人是东北财经大学教授许建军，其报告题目为“Complementarity Analysis of a Multi-item Inventory Model with Leading Product Pricing”。

【摘要】

We study a multi-product joint inventory replenishment and pricing problem where the seller periodically replenishes a mix of substitute and complementary products, and controls the selling price of a single leading product, with the other product prices exogenously determined. We prove that the seller’s expected profit function has an L-natural-concavity structure, based on which we show that optimal decisions follow a base-stock list-price policy. More interestingly, the economic relationship between products from the seller’s perspective may differ from that from the customers’viewpoint. Our results on counter-intuitive economic complementarity suggest that managers should not just follow the economic relationship from customers’perspective. We also demonstrate that the analysis method for pricing a single leading product can be applied to some multi-price control problems such as  category percentage discount and rebate promotion practices.

【主讲人简介】

许建军，新加坡南洋理工大学运营管理博士，加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学和西班牙萨拉戈萨物流研究中心博士后，曾任麻省理工大学全球供应链物流卓越网络萨拉格萨物流研究中心助理教授，现任职于东北财经大学国际商学院商业数据分析教研室主任，教授，博士生导师。主要研究领域为供应链和物流管理、运营管理、动态优化控制等。具体理论研究领域包括动态库存管理、最优生产控制、最优价格控制、柔性制造资源最优策略等。其研究成果已发表在Operations Research, Production and Operations Management,IISE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research，International Journal of Production Economics，Naval Research Logistics, Operations Research Letters等国际知名期刊。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项，参与国家自然科学基金重点项目1项，联合申请欧盟Horizon 2020项目2项，参与欧盟项目多项。
